Patient testimonials built to share real experiences and bring in patients.
A testimonial library from the patients you’ve already changed, cut for your site, your social, your ads, and your consult room.
Medical testimonials are their own skill set.
You’re asking someone to talk about something they were embarrassed by, on camera, with strangers in the room.
Most crews rush that, or over-direct it, and what comes back sounds rehearsed. The patient says the right words and you can still hear them performing.
Advocate Health has trusted us for five years with their cancer patient stories. Same job: get someone comfortable enough to say the true thing out loud. We’d bring that to your patients.
Your patients aren’t nervous about the camera.
They’re nervous about being looked at, after years of avoiding it.
Three jobs, one library.
From our conversation on July 14, the work breaks into three pieces that feed each other. Everything is built once and cut many ways.
Smile reveals
The real reaction, captured well. Four to six a month, booked as they come up, on a rhythm that fits your schedule instead of fighting it.
Patient testimonials
Six to seven patients, one day at the office. Polished. The story from what they lived with, to why they chose you, to life now.
Ads & follow-up
Creative built from what makes your audience act. Plus the consult follow-up piece, lobby loop, and Dr. Wingler’s opening and closing language.
How the final videos should feel.
In your own words.
If a cut doesn’t clear all five, it doesn’t ship.
Five years capturing stories of impact in healthcare.
Both of these are Advocate Health patient stories. Watch how the patients talk. That’s the part a better camera doesn’t buy you.
Michael
Tanya
The office shows the dentistry. It doesn’t show the life.
You called this life-changing three times on our call. The video should show some of that life.
If every frame is a dental chair, the viewer has to take the rest on faith. Film the same patient somewhere out in their week and it stops being a claim.
We’re twenty minutes away, so we can go where they actually are. That’s harder for a crew flying in for a single day.
Office only
“My teeth look great.”
A satisfied dental patient. True, and forgettable.
Office + life
“I hadn’t let anyone take my picture in eleven years.”
Shot where he finally did. That’s the one that gets shared.
The Smile Reveal Box.
Every smile reveal video looks the same. Handheld mirror, patient turned away, camera on the side of a head. The format hides the reaction, and then it cuts to the teeth, because the teeth are the only clean coverage left.
That’s true of the reference video you sent, and it’s true of every competitor we looked at. Better cameras, same blind spot.
We’d build you a reveal setup that puts the lens where the mirror is. The patient looks at their new smile and, without thinking about it, looks straight at the camera. You get the face every time.
It also catches whoever is standing behind them. You mentioned the reaction sometimes belongs to the spouse more than the patient. This is how you get both in one frame.
Built once, used on every reveal after that. Nobody in this market has one.
Organized enough to make a sensitive day feel easy.
Before the day
Patient selection, question design, releases, room walkthrough, and the misconception list, meaning what people wrongly believe about your practice that these videos need to correct.
The day
Interviews back to back at your office. B-roll running alongside. Dr. Wingler pulled for openers, closers, and impact language. Opt-in patients followed into their life.
The cuts
Full horizontal and vertical versions of every story, plus short-form pulls. Before-and-afters integrated. Everything organized for the way you’ll actually use it.
Put to work
Ad versions built from conversion logic, not trimmed from testimonials. Consult follow-up piece. Lobby loop. We run it, or hand it to your marketing company.
Two ways to run the day.
Same patients, same office, same standard of interview. What changes is crew size, and how much of their life we’re able to capture around it.
The Full Day
Three-person crew. B-roll runs while interviews run, and we follow the patients who are willing out into their lives.
- Seven patient testimonials, produced start to finish. Planning, interviews, editing, and full horizontal and vertical cuts of every story.
- Dedicated DP running B-roll in parallel with interviews
- Producer free to direct instead of manage the day
- Off-campus life capture for patients who opt in
- Dr. Wingler openers, closers & impact language
- Short-form social pulls from every story
- Before & after stills integrated
The Office Day
Two-person crew. Everything captured at your office, B-roll grabbed in the gaps between interviews.
- Seven patient testimonials, produced start to finish. Planning, interviews, editing, and full horizontal and vertical cuts of every story.
- Dr. Wingler openers, closers & impact language
- Before & after stills integrated
- No dedicated B-roll operator
- No off-campus life capture
- Producer splits time between directing and running the day
Ads that convert.
Your marketing company currently takes what you’ve edited and puts something on top of it. That’s a shorter version of a video that already exists.
An ad is a different piece of work with a different job. We start from what makes your audience act, then build the video from that. It gets constructed differently from the first frame.
- Creative direction shared with you for approval before anything runs
- Two versions built for A/B testing
- Consult follow-up piece, lobby TV loop, and consultation room cut
- Monthly performance reporting
- Quarterly strategy review
Paid directly to the platform, not to us. Adjust up or down as the numbers tell you to.
Smile reveals, on demand.
Separate from the packages above, because it isn’t a project. Dr. Wingler does four to six of these a month and he’ll keep doing them. This is what it costs to capture one properly.
- Priced per reveal, so you decide which ones are worth capturing. No retainer, no minimum.
- One fixed filming day each week keeps scheduling from becoming a scramble. Abbie coordinates the calendar with Katharine and Ashlin on a rolling basis.
- Captured with the raw, real feel you want. Not staged, not performed, with editing that serves the moment instead of decorating it.
- Before-and-after treatment and music built in. Vertical-first, since that’s where they’ll live.
- Two to three week lead time from consult means we plan around your patients instead of chasing them.
Covers capture and edit of one smile reveal, delivered in vertical and horizontal cuts. Book them as they come up, or set a standing day.
One-time build, priced separately. Design, build, and test day. Optional, reveals run without it.
Guardrails.
Patient coordination & releases
Production depends on patient availability, signed releases, and internal approvals. The patients already lined up for testimonials are the priority. You noted they’re eager and the window matters. We’d rather move fast than let the excitement cool.
Creative standard
The five descriptors are the bar, and we’ll hold the work to them. The failure mode we’re guarding against isn’t a bad video. It’s a viewer who walks away confused about what you actually do.
Proprietary concepts
The Smile Reveal Box and the capture approaches described here were developed by Turnstone and are shared with Carolina Pine for evaluation of this proposal. They’re not intended for disclosure to or execution by other parties.
Scope & scheduling
Package scope, crew size, and timing can be refined. Raw footage is available to you on request at no upcharge, and all editing stays in-house. Installment payment plans are available on any option here.
Straight answers.
Let’s get the patients who are ready, filmed.
You have people on the schedule right now who already said yes and are still excited about it. That window is the thing worth protecting. Pick a direction and we’ll lock a date.
